2017 Monster Energy Arenacross Tour

Type : Others

The Monster Energy Arenacross Tour is back for 2017 and once again the high-octane action will be returning to Belfast! The SSE Arena will host two rounds of the Tour so make your way to there on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of January for two action packed nights of furious entertainment for the whole family.

AX throws together an intoxicating mix of world-class indoor Motocross Racing, high-flying Freestyle Motocross and a show to rival any music festival including lights, lasers, pyro and a pumping soundtrack. With thousands of fans streaming through the doors every year, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been a two-wheeled enthusiast all your life or if you have no clue about bikes – there are few better ways to banish those January blues.

The 2017 Arenacross tour will again be a truly international affair, with some of the best Professional racers from across the world taking on the top Brits across a set of tightly-packed classes. Young racing warriors from the age of seven will take to the track too and, like their heroes that they aspire to be, engage in fierce competition with a single-minded determination to claim Arenacross glory.

Away from the racing, the crammed Tour programme will include radical Freestyle Motocross, where the giants of the FMX world will showcase their breath-taking skills and try to outdo each other with their tricks and backflips, some forty foot above the arena floor. In the past we’ve had the likes of the European God Father of FMX and recent X-Games bronze medallist Edgar Torronteras, Top Brit Jamie ‘Squibby’ Squibb who is fresh off the Nitro Circus Tour and the Czech giant Petr Pilat who has wowed audiences all around the world with his ridiculously awesome and spectacular style.

Following Belfast, the Tour will rock up to a further two of the UK’s leading arenas when Sheffield and London get a chance to witness the Arenacross magic.

With its highly-charged atmosphere, thumping beat, lasers, lights, and presenter hype, onlookers are left in no doubt that being an Arenacross spectator means they’re as much a part of the show as the racers themselves. It’s an epic night out!
