THE 2016 BELFAST GUITAR SOCIETY- SILENT SUNDAY

What do Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, The Artist and Metropolis all have in common? If you said they were all silent you’d be right. We are going to change that by creating scores to various silent movies.

We plan to take you on a real-time audio visual journey as we explore the boundaries of how images can be interpreted musically. This will be a great afternoon of film and music. As a guitar based festival we promote the use of strings when it comes to music however Silent Sunday will be an event not to be missed as any instrument could turn up.
