Two Sore Legs

Type : Theatre

Set in 1950s-60s Belfast, Two Sore Legs tells the true story of the playwright’s mother Bridget, a young Butlin’s Redcoat, who had six children by a married man.

The play explores the scandal, pain, joy and fall-out from this extraordinary family arrangement and what it meant for Brenda, her siblings and of course, her mother.

Following its sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival and the Lyric Theatre, Two Sore Legs arrives at the Grand Opera House with a clutch of outstanding reviews and a performance by Maria Connolly that will leave you breathless.
