RuPauls Drag Race

This breathtaking live drag queen talent show is based on the international mega-hit TV franchise “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (RPDR) and it is the first time it will be staged at prestigious Dame Street venue. Irish fans will finally get a chance to see their favourite stars up close and personal as they sing, dance and out-perform each other in a bid to become the next Drag Superstar.

RuPaul achieved international fame as a drag queen with the hit song “Supermodel ( You Better Work)" from her album “Supermodel Of The World” (1993) and later dueted with Elton John on the song “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”. In 1996, she became a spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics, raising money for the Mac Aids Fund and become the first drag queen supermodel. The same year, she landed her own talk show “RuPaul Show” which ran for two years on VH1 before co-hosting the morning radio show on WTKU with Michelle Visage. In 2008, RuPaul began producing RuPaul's Drag Race.

The “Battle of the Seasons” tour, now in its third consecutive year of growth, will once again be hosted by series judge Michelle Visage and includes an all-star cast of past winners, runners up and fan favorites from each season of RPDR, including: Courtney Act, Jinkx Monsoon, Katya, Pandora Boxx, Sharon Needles, Violet Chachki and Willam.
