By Fusion. Based on the 1961 film 'Whistle Down the Wind' this musical has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Jim Steinman. While the original film and book were set in Lancashire, this moved to small-town Louisiana in 1959. Swallow, a teenager growing up in a small town America has to choose between fantasy and reality when she finds a fugitive hiding in the barn, and has to discover who she is and where she is going. Andrew Lloyd Webbers score includes hauntingly beautiful love longs as well as rocknroll, not forgetting of course, the soaring " Keys to the Vaults of Heaven". NB: This show contains strobe lighting, some strong language and adult material. The performance on Friday 4th March will be signed for the deaf. Tickets for Wednesday are £12. Tickets for Thursday £14. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are £16. There are no concessions for this show. All children over the age of 18 months require a ticket and must occupy a seat.
