Gareth Pearson, the Welsh phenomenon of fingerstyle guitar, has a distinctive style of playing that has earned him accolades from the renowned guitarists Jan Akkerman who called him a genius. With influences like Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel, Gareth’s repertoire of techniques is wide and even includes his arrangements of Michael Jackson and Radiohead hits. Gareth’s special guest is Belfast’s David Browne-Murray [aka DBM], another fingerstyle guitarist who is making waves since he won the prestigious Yamaha Six String Guitar Competition in the USA.
