Pipers Club 50th Anniversary Concert

In 2011 the Armagh Pipers Club celebrated it’s 45th Anniversary with a performance by forty-five uilleann pipers all current or former club members. The 50th Anniversary concert will see a celebration of the work of the club covering five decades and will reunite the worldwide diaspora of the club with the current membership. Former members will travel from as far away as the USA and from Europe to join up with current and former members from all over Ireland and Britain. The concert will take place with a backdrop illustrating the highlights of 50 years of endeavour in the promotion of Irish music and song which
has seen thousands of pupils learn their musicianship in this remarkable club.
