OUT TO LUNCH FESTIVAL

Type : Festivals

We’re ‘glass-half-full’ types here at Out to Lunch/CQAF.
Yes, the sector we love is being destroyed by cynical, parish pump politics but we keep on keeping on, ever hopeful that ‘a change is gonna come.’
And so we start to roll out the first of our Out to Lunch shows for January. We hope you find something there. Maybe the awe inspiring beauty of Villagers’ music, a powerful adaption of Steinbeck’s classic ‘Of Mice and Men,’ the wry comedy of Isy Suttie or the Mercury Prize nominated East India Youth.
We love them all but there’s a special place in our heart for the fiery Scot Dick Gaughan whose version of the classic ‘World Turned Upside Down’ always rallies the spirits, and lends a little historical perspective.
All ‘early bird’ shows are now over at www.cqaf.com with the full programme coming at the end of November. It’ll be a goodie, we promise. ‪#‎ArtsMatterNI‬
