World famous tenor Plácido Domingo January 17th, 2016.

The concert will be performed with the RTE Concert Orchestra, conductor Eugene Kohn and several world renowned special guests including two amazing sopranos. It will be an intimate setting in the 3Arena, set up for the special occasion. This will be a night not to be missed.

Mr Domingo will celebrate his 75th birthday in January 2016 and he said he can't imagine a better place to celebrate this special occasion than in Ireland. "Not having been in Ireland for almost twelve years I am really looking forward to the 2016 appearance" Mr Domingo tells us. "It is a pity we have to reschedule but sometimes this happens. I hope my friends and fans will forgive me and I can assure you of an even more spectacular show in January".

Mr Domingo's management issued a statement to say that all tickets sold and issued for the May concert will be valid for the rescheduled concert on January 17th 2016 and that those with tickets need to take no action. Some tickets are still available and will continue to be sold through Ticketmaster.ie and all usual outlets nationwide.
