Retro club-night favourite, the Groovy Train, has announced its relocation to Roxy Nightclub, following more than ten years at Belfast’s mclub.
The news follows confirmation that the mclub will close its doors for the final time this year, ending the legacy of one of Belfast’s most popular club-scene venues.
Commenting on the move, Wine Inns General Manager, Mark Mateer said: "The Groovy Train has built such a loyal fan base over the years; people who come back week-after-week, year-after-year, for a great night of entertainment, and we simply couldn’t let those fans down in light of the mclub closing."
He went on to say, "Roxy is the perfect location for the new and improved Groovy Train, which features a host of talent; including multi-award winning dancers and Citybeat’s Ibe Sesay in the lead role as JJ Jackson every week."
Launching in Roxy on 25 April, the Groovy Train runs every Friday from 21:00 to late... Adm is £5 with party packages also available.
