Linenhall Fund Raiser

BBC TV's hit comedy series 'Give My Head Peace' has teamed up with Belfast's Linen Hall Library for a seriously satiric night of laughs to raise funds for one of NI's most popular cultural centres.

NI comedian, actor and writer Tim McGarry will open the evening with his inimitable banter before members of the 'Gang' read from two broadcast episodes of the popular comedy show that ran on BBC NI from 1998 - 2007.

There will also be an open mic Q&A session with the cast.
All your favourites will be there: Da (Tim McGarry), Ma (Oivia Nash), Uncle Andy (Martin Reid), Billy (Michael McDowell), Dympna (Alexandra Ford), Cal (Damon Quinn) and Pastor Begbie (Paddy Jenkins).

The Linen Hall Library is one of Northern Ireland’s most popular cultural centres. It is Belfast’s oldest independent library (since 1788) housed in a listed Victorian building with a cafe, gift shop and full calendar of cultural events.

The event takes place on Wednesday 11 October in the Great Hall, Stormont. Tickets are priced at £25 and available now at linenhall.com & Linen Hall Library box office on 028 9032 1707.
