Experience The Syndrome...

The award winning Stendhal Festival of Art is back in 2016 with five headline acts! We're not sure exactly how that works but I guess we'll find out over the 12 and 13 August this year.

Of course, Stendhal is not your run of the mill music festival. Set in the picturesque surrounds of Ballymully Cottage Farm on the outskirts of Limavady, Stendhal Festival of Art brings an all encompassing artistic experience to the Roe Valley.

Celebrating the creativity of artists from all over Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and further afield.
This years headline acts include:
Therapy?, Badly Drawn Boy, Hayseed Dixie and Lynched.

Speaking about this year's event, festival director, Ross Parkhill, said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming so many fantastic acts to Ballymully Cottage Farm again this August.
"From Legendary Irish acts to emerging ones, bands who have festival experience the world over to a Mercury Prize Winner, we believe that this year's line-up is the strongest we have ever assembled.

"We strive to have as much variety in our acts as humanly possible, tick as many boxes as we can for fans of all genres and we once again will have something for everyone at Stendhal this summer.

"We will be announcing the second wave of acts, along with our comedy, poetry, theatre, art and family programmes very soon, so watch this space for much more to come."

Stendhal prides itself on being a festival for all ages and pays particular attention to it's family offerings.

This year, families attending the event will have their own dedicated campsite next to the farmhouse and closer to the festival's car park. Volunteers will also be on hand to help families with luggage, but, the festival has also said that it is hoping to have a dedicated drop off site within the camp ground to make it even easier for families.

Festival information is regularly updated on their website and social media sites, which are listed below.

Stendhal Festival of Art runs from 12-13 August at Ballymully Cottage Farm. Full line-up information and tickets can be found at stendhalfestival.com, FB/Stendhal-Festival-of-Art and @Stendhalireland.
