Wild Atlantic Way

The organisers of Donegal's Annual Wild Atlantic Way walking week, have issued a "final reminder" for booking a spot as they are quickly filling up.

Between Monday 08 and Friday 12 June, you could be setting off on foot into the last wilderness of Europe, the Blue Stack Mountains, known as the "jewel in the crown" of the Donegal Mountains, visiting Glenn Cholm Cille, having a fascinating look around the Folk Village where each house is an exact replica of the dwellings used by the local people of the 1700’s, 1800’s and 1900’s.

If you want to stretch your legs, Slieve League is a must rising 600m above the Atlantic, its cliffs are among the highest sea cliffs in Europe.

If you are energetic and an explorer then a purpose built coastal footpath stretching 10 miles through moor and farmland with fence stiles known as the, Creevy Coastal Walk is for you.

Registration is €20.00 per person per day and includes transport to and from starting / finishing points; Local guides will lead you on our fantastic range of walks sharing their knowledge of the landscape and history that this Donegal Coastline has to offer.
