Having announced their first show of 2015, essential Belfast promoter Strange Victory is starting big with the Unthanks and their new 10-piece band.
They will perform the groups first album in four years, the recently announced Mount The Air. And it is an exciting prospect, given the previous work of Rachel and Becky Unthank.
We like Uncut magazines take on the matter: "The Unthanks seem to regard folk music the same way Miles Davis regarded jazz: as a launch pad for exploring the wider possibilities."
