All Tvvins, the new band featuring former Adebisi Shank and the Cast of Cheers members, are coming to town – McHughs Basement on 14 November, to be precise.
They used to just be Tvvins (pronounced twins), but recently added the 'All', but no matter it is still the new band of one Lar Kaye – former guitarist of the recently departed Adebisi Shank and (possibly also former?) drummer with No Spill Blood – and Connor Adams – from the band that seemed poised to explode out of Dublin, the Cast of Cheers – and they make extremely agreeable "robotic interstellar synth-pop music".
The two men’s songwriting abilitly is well and truly established, and All Tvvins takes ample pieces of both Shank and Cheers, combining them into wonderful pop music.
We’ll miss Adebisi Shank – actually don’t know if Cast of Cheers are still active, although they did recently update their FB page – but at least these two exceptionally talented men are continuing to make music worth listening to.
