It is not unusual for events to clash, but this Saturday there are least 8 'must see' events all on, and that is just in Belfast. It really is a tough call deciding what to go to, as whatever you chose you are going to be missing out on something else, so, here is a quick list of what is happening... All on the same night...
• Slomatics, Estron release show at Voodoo with Lurch and Zlantanera
• GoGo Penguin play the Black Box with Boxcutter as part of Brilliant Corners Festival
• Bourne/Davis/Kane play the MAC as part of Brilliant Corners – it is earlier though
• Rams Pocket Radio plays the Strand Arts Centre
• Royal Blood play the Stiff Kitten
• Gnarwolves play McHughes
• Sunglasses After Dark is on at the Menagerie
• and there are 11 different films to choose from as part of Belfast Film Festival
So, whatever you chose to go with – most likely Slomatics for us, or GoGo Penguin, or maybe Gnarwolves – probably best to just forget that you might be missing something somewhere else and just embrace what you've got.
