Busy month for slow burning Belfast record label No Dancing with two upcoming releases by the dark (k)night Robyn G Shiels and the greatest band that could have been, Desert Hearts.
At a time when releasing a record really couldn’t be easier, there is a lot to be said for taking your time to do it right, and both of these coming releases on the independent Belfast label are certainly worth the wait.
This would be a fine opportunity to make a reference to fine wine and the aging process, but I’ll not, except for actually referencing that I could have made the reference, but didn’t. Or something.
What was I saying… Oh yes, records. Both of these records are worth your time and your money, so buy them, and go to the shows. And buy me a drink to say thank you.
