Boojum Mexican Restaurant

Boojum is a casual burrito bar, serving homemade Mexican food at excellent prices. Boojum stands for fresh, friendly and affordable food. The people behind Boojum (John and Karen) are complete burrito addicts and committed to offering customers the true Mexican experience. We import spices, chillies and sauces from Mexico, use the most authentic recipes, offer a wide selection of speciality beers and immerse ourselves in Mexican culture to offer you a slice of Mexico that you won't find anywhere else.

The original restaurant is located on Botanic Avenue and we also have a second restaurant on Chichester Street in Belfast's city centre.


Boojum has the very highest of food standards, recognised by the Food Standards Agency, and all ingredients used are of the highest quality to offer great taste and choice. At Boojum there is no table service, bookings or formalities required. Just walk on up, place your order and chow down.

BURRITO
A large flour tortilla filled with cilantro-lime rice, choice of beans (black or pinto), filling of your choice, salsa, cheese and sour cream.

FAJITA
A large flour tortilla filled with cilantro-lime rice, sautéed peppers and onions, filling of your choice, salsa, cheese and sour cream

TACOS
3 soft flour tortillas or 3 hard corn tortillas with filling of your choice, salsa, cheese, sour cream and lettuce

BURRITO BOWL
Take all the ingredients that go into a burrito/fajita and mix them up in a bowl without the tortilla

SALAD
Crisp romaine lettuce, choice of filling, choice of beans or sautéed peppers and onions, salsa, cheese and sour cream
